A graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. She continued refining her vocal skills through the Young Talents Education Program at the Opera Academy Young Talent Development Programme at the Polish National Opera, and subsequently became associated with the Opera Studio at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel at the Théâtre de la Monnaie in Brussels.
Her wide repertoire includes both classical, romantic, and contemporary works. Among her most important creations are the roles of Mimi in Puccini’s La Bohème, Rusalka in Dvořák’s Rusalka, Marguerite in Gounod’s Faust, Vitellia in Mozart’s La clemenza di Tito, Tatiana in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, Fiordiligi in Mozart’s Così fan tutte, Donna Elvira in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Susanna in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, Musetta in Puccini’s La Bohème, Sylva Varescu in Die Csárdásfürstin, and Lisette in Puccini’s La Rondine.
Aleksandra Orłowska regularly collaborates with prominent institutions and esteemed musical ensembles in Poland, including the Grand Theatre – National Opera, The Warsaw Philharmonic – The National Orchestra of Poland, the Baltic Opera, the Kraków Opera, the Łódź Grand Theatre, the Silesian Opera, the Wrocław Opera, the Polish Royal Opera, the Warsaw Chamber Opera, the Kraków Philharmonic, the Silesian Philharmonic, and the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra.
She has performed with conductors such as B. Akiki, A. Banaszak, M. J. Błaszczyk, A. Dumay, J. M. Florêncio, P. Fournillier, R. Janiak, M. Kluczyńska, R. Kłoczko, T. Kozłowski, R. Labahua, P. McCreesh, G. Nowak, M. Nowakowski, C. Montanaro, D. Runtz, Y. Shemet, R. Silva, S. Soltesz, P. Sułkowski, T. Wojciechowski, and A. Yurkevych.
Among the artist’s exceptional projects, notable mentions include a concert for the 75th anniversary of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Brussels, performances with the Verein Opera in Zurich, recording projects, world premieres of contemporary works, and ceremonial events broadcast by Polish Television. The artist also regularly performs at prestigious galas and concerts, with her most recent appearance being at this year’s New Year’s Eve concert at the Warsaw Philharmonic.
